Last Minute Kids Gift in Monroe

Image
If your scrambling for gifts this week, I have to recommend Bricks & Minifigs in Monroe. They have a huge selection of Lego, a place to build your own minifigs, and a big section to fill your own bag with assorted Lego. We got a $15 pre-filled bag of random Lego pieces, and the kids have had a blast building ships and houses ever since. It's so fun in there that you almost forget the pain of stepping on Lego blocks in the kids room... almost.   Also- if you need some shopping fuel, hit up Taqueria La Bamba  next door. It's amazing!

A couple of Snohomish Christmas tree farms

It's time to get your trees up! When it was just us, my husband and I used to get our tree permit and trek out to the woods to cut one down (more info here ). It's only 10 bucks and we have a lot of great memories making that trip. Now, with three little kids, it's a bit much for us. Snohomish has a lot of great tree farms, which are somewhere in the middle of trekking out to the woods and picking one out at Chubby and Tubby (remember that place?) and having the kid tie it on your car. Here's two that we really like, go check em out! Dairyland U-cut, Pre-cut, wreaths, and a big gift shop. Farm Grown U-Cut Trees: 5'-8' Each $69.99 Douglas Fir Pre-Cut Trees 5'-9' $13 per foot 10'-20' $14 per foot Mon-Thurs 9-8pm, Fri-Sat 9-9pm, Sun 9-6pm 12125 Treosti Road, Snohomish WA 98290  206-401-4385 Fish Creek Tree Farm U-Cut, nothing fancy but our kids always have a blast running around the farm while we hunt for the best tree.
